Relaxing treatment Inspired by Shiatsu
We are
Vesna I was born in Germany, where I spent my first seven years surrounded by forested hills, a river, and a lake. Later, Trogir, Zagreb, and Dubrovnik. A deep connection with nature and a love of art led me to my first calling – landscape architecture.
Over time I became more and more intrigued by the nature of the human being, and the need for a more conscious and mindful life grew stronger. Gradually, I arrived at my second calling – dedicated bodywork, inspired above all by shiatsu, and increasingly by the Alexander Technique. A meeting of nature and art in my life once again – this time with more peace and balance.
Vjeran I was born in Dubrovnik, and grew up within the stone walls of the old town. My world was surrounded by narrow streets and fortifications. A sense of safety infused with a unique cultural tapestry. But my world also held the vastness of the sea. I grew within this contrast. Turning inward – toward the hidden, the unreachable – and outward, toward the boundless horizon.
In time, different interests began to emerge: music, acting, graphic design, philosophy, theology, aikido, gardening, a DIY approach… At the end of this line, another beginning. Shiatsu. A light and deep presence, unfolding through conscious communication in touch. My world in new contours.
We are here
Our two life stories intertwine deeply. We love working together, that is why we have created Atelier Arhe – a concept, but also a space. It is set on the ground floor of our house, close to the sea, surrounded by a garden. Here, with much care, we have envisioned a room for relaxing treatments, free from the unnecessary. What remains is silence, tatami, window, view of the garden.
Beyond treatments, many forms of creativity and craft unfold. All our callings, interests, worlds find their place in the Atelier: from architecture and design to plant growing, kombucha fermentation and creating kokedama. And many more still.
